Leaky Feeder & Radiating Cables for Indoor and Tunnel Coverage

Draka's coaxial antenna product families provide reliable distributed coverage in buildings, tunnels, underground railways, and other
challenging RF environments.

Two technologies are available: coupled-mode cables (RFX / RF2X) with a corrugated and milled slotted outer conductor for broadband and multi-band systems, and radiating-mode cables (RFXT) with a periodically slotted copper tape outer conductor optimised for selected frequency bands.

RFX cables feature slots on one side of the outer conductor; RF2X cables feature dual-sided slots for enhanced radiation. RFXK and RF2XK variants include an integral suspension wire for simplified deployment in long tunnel runs. The key performance metrics — longitudinal attenuation and coupling loss — are validated against IEC 61196-4
