Microphone Cable — 598 Series

Belden 598 series microphone cables are developed for the Asia Pacific market using 99.95% purity Electrolytic Tough Pitch (ETP) copper, equivalent in performance to oxygen-free copper. The series features Belden’s patented French Braid shield — a double spiral bare copper shield with the two spirals tied together by one weave — providing improved flex life over standard spiral shields, greater flexibility than conventional braid shields, and lower microphonic (triboelectric) noise than either shield type.
