Industrial Timing Solutions — Kyland PTS Series

AUTBUS — IEC-Standardised Multidrop Fieldbus
AUTBUS is a proprietary broadband fieldbus developed by Kyland and now standardised under IEC 61158 Type 28 and IEC 61784 CPF22. It delivers 100 Mbit/s over a single twisted pair cable to up to 254 multidrop nodes across distances of up to 500 metres — bridging the gap between legacy serial fieldbus and Ethernet.
The ABN300 Series Multidrop Couplers provide field-level conversion between AUTBUS and Ethernet (RJ45/SPE), CAN, and RS-485 — making AUTBUS backward-compatible with existing device infrastructure in process automation, oil & gas, renewable energy, building automation, and railway construction.
- Unlike Profibus or CAN: 100 Mbps bandwidth, real-time determinism, and IPv6-native architecture over two-wire cable
